Beef Bone Broth Take II

You all know I am a firm believer in beef bone broth, which is really stock, since broth is made from meat and stock from bone. But Beef Bone Broth, Triple B or BBB just rolls so well! I make a lot of stock for my catering and private clients as well as myself. Recently, I made some adjustments to the stock I make for myself, as I like spice. I just made a double batch of stock in two 7-quart crock pots. I included the same ingredients for my basic BBB listed in an earlier bog, but included the following to each crock pot:

2 Jalapenos-Mostly seeded and roughly chopped

4 Cloves Garlic-Roughly chopped

1/2 Teaspoon Red Chili Flakes

I cooked it for about 36 hours and only had to add a small amount of water after about 20 hours to keep the crock pots full. I let the liquid cool, strained it, refrigerated and then froze most of the liquid.

I have been heating up a coffee mug-full each morning and drinking it. YUM! It is delicious, flavorful and filling, not to mention so good for your body.

Just wanted to share this adjustment. Enjoy and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
